Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:01AM We were in a church in Germany last month wandering around. There is a lot to look at in most older churches. You could wander for a while. I sat down on a pew, and when I leaned back and looked up, I saw these guys. I kinda dig 'em.

This is what I THOUGHT I might be eating.Yesterday I had a craving for fish and chips. They're SO good here. We were doing our errands downtown, and saw a likely place. Kazimierz was the Jewish area of Krakow from the 14th century until the Second World War.
It's a very interesting area of the city. It's hip, trendy, and in the midst of revitalization. It's also full of abandoned and crumbling buildings, which have little chance of ever being utilized again. Why? No one knows who owns them. The Jewish owners were forced out during WW2, and no one knows where they are.
