Pic For The Day - Gargoyles On The Ceiling

We were in a church in Germany last month wandering around. There is a lot to look at in most older churches. You could wander for a while. I sat down on a pew, and when I leaned back and looked up, I saw these guys. I kinda dig 'em.

Brenna Has Fish Tea

This is what I THOUGHT I might be eating.Yesterday I had a craving for fish and chips. They're SO good here. We were doing our errands downtown, and saw a likely place. Places We're North Of...

As we've mentioned, we're spending the winter in Perth. Scotland not Australia. We're loving it, but we're winter newbies. Okay, I lived a year in Boulder, Colorado, but that was many Southern California moons ago. Brenna and the kids and I have been talking a lot about shorter dark days and colder weather. Pic For The Day - Polish Graffiti

We saw this graffiti on a wall in the Kazimierz district of Krakow, Poland. Kazimierz was the Jewish area of Krakow from the 14th century until the Second World War. 

It's a very interesting area of the city. It's hip, trendy, and in the midst of revitalization. It's also full of abandoned and crumbling buildings, which have little chance of ever being utilized again. Why? No one knows who owns them. The Jewish owners were forced out during WW2, and no one knows where they are.
