If you're going to be shopping at Amazon anyway - do it from here. It won't cost you any more than usual and it'll help us out. Thanks!

Yikes Brenna, I would have been farther away than under a table. Probably in a closet.
HHHHAAAAAAAAAA!
Too Funny!
The kids are now following your adventures and escapades along with me and enjoying it immensely! (Prior to this I kept your juicy little snippets for myself; now I share.) The current pool in Budapest, the market tomatoes, break dancing, etc. we love it all! I make it part of the start of our homeschooling day! "Let's see what's going on in the world..."
Love you all.
Aloha,
Nicole.
We could not be more delighted and honored Nicole. Thank you so very much, and "Hi" to the kids from us!
Brenna
Sure you're not in Romania?
When you get to Croatia make sure you keep the windows shut at night ... or prepare to share "Attack Of The Killer Mosquitoes!"
Brilliant. BRILL-eeeeee-ANT.
Did it ever leave? Is it there still? Did it turn into a pale faced man with a cape and tuxedo and metal cross thing on a ribbon around his neck? Because if that happens you should just get on a plane and come right home. No family adventure is worth becoming undead for all eternity. Trust me, I read Twilight. Although Ella might be a super darling vampire I think Owen may lack the required discretion...
"Hey, you guys, guess what?!!!!! Oh, right, I can't tell you. But it is so cool, you'll never guess in a million years, even though I'll still be alive, if you know what I mean, which you don't because I haven't told you anything, right? Ok, I'm a vampire...."
"Um, just kidding"
"Not really."
"Can I suck all of the blood out of you?"
"THANKS"
Peaceoutredpaths! Much love, wh
Malcolm says "I totally wish I would have been there for that! I totally would have shouted follow that bat!--or I'd have hidden under the table."
Good luck with the rest of your time in Central Europe.
Love,
Mara
It's that new hair stuff you are using, Brenna! It probably attracts bats! Margery
I am peeing my pants!!!!!!! I've watched it three times now and can't stop laughing. You are all too funny.
Cool Bat flick Man
Europeans almost never use screens which leads to some interesting visitors!
same thing happened to us in a cabin in North Carolina. Open a closet & BAM(burger) a bat starts attacking us! Fearful that i would be the 1st attacked, i did the only honorable thing and told Cyn to get out from under the bed and open the front door while i go (& hide) look for a weapon (broom). Following several kamikaze attempts from this devil bat, i heroically saved our lives. They might as well be rats with wings.
Very funny.
I just had to come back and quick watch it one more time. And I'm glad I did too - we got two for one with the "Owen as vampire" addition. Stellar! OH what a feel good place is From Here to Uncertainty!
PS: Your fans require follow-up. How does The Great Bat Story end???
Ok, I can hear the scream now.......the scream that ment there is a spider, bug, bat, other creppy crawley thing that you have to come catch Mom before it attacks me and I die a horrable death. Sorry Bob I forgot to tell you about that scream.
Brenna, how many times have I told you that bats and spiders are good things? Ella will take care of it.........my brave wonderful granddaughter who cuts worms in half and threads them onto her brothers and her cusions hook, who gathers snails, and protects praying manthis can do anything!!!!
Get out from under the table Brenna and take the bat like a mother should........,....with broom in hand.
MOM
OK, to all you bat phobic people related to me....................I am a charter memberto the NATIONAL ASSOCIATION FOR BAT PROTECTION! (Is that why my children tell me I have witch tendencies?)
B &C's MOM
@Melody the bat couldn't stand the hysterics anymore, so it flew away -- I know, pretty anticlimactic.
@Barbara I think the mosquitos that've been sucking my blood at night out weigh the bat.
hahahaha! this is andrew R from movie club. you should check out our bat problom, heres the link. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=reHa3_UYzGY# just watch till the end.
OK - I hate to make my husband look bad, but his memory seems to be a bit foggy on our Bat episode. We DID have the same thing happen to us, but ... it was ME who had the broom shooing the bat out of the cabin. Travis was hiding out in the other room yelling for me to hurry up.
Yes - Even with the attack of the killer bats ... I AM STILL JEALOUS!!!
Hope you are all well. LOVE and MISS YOU ALL SOOO!!! : )
Cynthia
Bob,
Look at you guys, the family living out the dream. Hey the bat - I'm thinking that was really a vampire. But, then again, maybe that's just me. Glad to see everying if moving forward.
