Pic For The Day - Best Shave Ever
Saturday, May 29, 2010 at 2:31PM We were sitting in Madrid, waiting on a plane to Marrakech, when this guy with the best shave ever sat down across from me. For almost an hour I tried to figure out a way to capture his fabulous-ness without him knowing. It was tricky, because he kept staring right at us. Maybe it was due to my stir-crazy kids, who had already been on one plane, and were bored stiff by the long lay-over.

Lama is "pretty" sure that this is NOT a shave, but a VERY precise plucking of facial hair, which is employed by Gulungan monks in Albania. This plucking of facial hair is actually performed by other monks while the 'pluckee' is in DEEP meditation. the practice is called, "Shikoni, Bruno kaloi jashtë" .. which translates to "Look, Bruno passed out!"

I don't know who this "Lama" wisecracker is, but he needs to lay off of whatever meds he's taking. I think your pictures, and your journey, are inspiring, and it upsets me that this "Holy Dude" always has some smart comment to make. I wish he's just receive total consciousness and GO AWAY!
