Bagpiper at Blair Castle

These, however, are not my socks. Although Bob says that they'd make a pretty good windscreen.;)
Bob records the piper. We couldn't find our windscreen, so that's one of my socks on the recorder.

For such somber sounding music, this makes me really so very happy. I still remember the first time I heard bagpipes as a girl. Hearing this gave me a flashback to that day.

My husband is Scottish so your posts these past couple of weeks have been wonderful. We're hoping to get there soon, but we're gearing up for our own trip to Africa!
