Oban Distillery

We took a tour of the distillery and got to sample 14 year old Scotch straight from the cask. We were told there are five million people living in Scotland, nine million sheep and 25 million oak whiskey barrels. I like those odds.

We rode a gondola to the top of Aonach Mor and took a little hike. In the winter it's a ski area. The view was stunning. The light was amazing.

Okay, we took a truckload of photos at Stonehenge. We found out that you can pay extra to arrive before the official opening and walk around inside the circle. Our family had Stonehenge to ourselves for nearly an hour as the sun came up on a frosty morning. It was magical!
